Rochester police say a 32-year-old city man is recovering after being shot Sunday evening
This evening, just before 5:30pm, Officers were flagged down for the report of a person shot in the 600 Block of South Ave. Officers did arrive to find a 32 year old male, city resident that was shot at least once in the lower body. He was transported to Strong hospital by AMR where he was treated by medical staff who declared his injuries to be non-life threatening. The investigation is still on-going and the surrounding streets have since opened up to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
