On the opening day of school in Rochester, one building had to go into lockout for 20 minutes after staff at the school heard gunfire.
The school is on North Plymouth Avenue north of downtown, and a shooting had just taken place at North Plymouth and Locust Street a few blocks away. A 22-year-old man got himself to the hospital to seek treatment for his gunshot wound and was recovering.
Police have no arrest in the shooting yet.
