A person who pulled out a gun during an argument between neighbors touched off a police incident Wednesday night that ended up involving the SWAT Team.
Rochester police say it happened on Shelter Street shortly after 5:30 in the evening when the suspect displayed a long gun during the dispute and retreated into 180 Shelter Street. SWAT was activated after the occupants refused to leave the home.
The situation was eventually resolved peaceably with the arrest of several suspects:
- Manding Monydeng, 27, charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
- Abyem Monydeng, 38, charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
- Tamira DeJesus, 24, charged with harassment.
A search warrant turned up a shotgun and ammunition.
