Residents of the House of Mercy homeless shelter in Rochester have been relocated twice since a fatal stabbing attack at the shelter on Sunday night.
As the shelter remains closed, residents were first taken to Martin Luther King Park in downtown Rochester, where they were put up in the park lodge. But that lasted only for 24 hours, according to Monroe County officials into temporary space where they can stay secure until the House of Mercy is able to reopen on Ormond Street.
The county has not said where that temporary shelter is located.
