We’re the focus of some heavy weather this afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service says all of Western New York and the Finger Lakes Region will see several lines of strong thunderstorms sweep across the area.
One system should pass between about 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. and another about 8:00 p.m.
These storms developed across the Ohio River Valley and are intensifying rapidly as they approach. Some may have winds in excess of 60 miles per hour. Torrential rains with instant road flooding are also possible.
