An employee of the company that provides food and uniform services to the Monroe County Jail has been arrested after he carried a gun into the jail.
A Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesman says Robert Malinowski of Liverpool has been charged with promoting prison contraband. The gun was spotted when Malinowski went through the security checkpoint on his way into the jail. He was arrested after an interview and will be arraigned tomorrow morning in City Court.
