Sentencing has been delayed for a month in the case of three Albion Middle School students who pleaded guilty to charges of plotting against their school.
The three teenagers were discussing attacking the school with explosives and firearms. Albion police became aware of their plot through messages being sent on a gaming message app called Discord. Police searched their homes and found several illegal weapons and other evidence which has not been specified.
Two of the students pleaded guilty to conspiracy, and the third to conspiracy plus aggravated harassment.
The delay until March 31st will allow for additional mental health evaluations.
