A Rochester man has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the murder of another city man last year.
28-year-old Tory Aldridge was convicted of fatally shooting Norris Jay, 49, on Sander Street in March of 2020. Aldridge walked up to Jay and shot him on his front porch as he watched his 10-yeear-old nephew playing in the front yard. The boy witnessed his uncle’s murder.
Aldridge was arrested two months later and found guilty of second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
