Fans can bake to win a holiday ticket package and a KitchenAid Stand Mixer.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Golf season in Upstate New York is six months away, so the PGA of America is embracing winter and the holiday baking season to keep the countdown moving. Fans are invited to participate in a Holiday Cookie Contest for a chance to win a special holiday ticket package to the 80th KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship and a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. View a hype video of the Holiday Cookie Contest here.

From Nov. 26 to Dec. 7, fans must create and name their best holiday cookie and post a photo of their masterpiece here. Five finalists will be selected, and one winner will be named based on the “deliciousness factor” of the photo, cookie name and overall creativity of the recipe. The winner will be announced on Facebook, Dec. 10 by 5 pm.

“In exactly six months from today, we’ll be celebrating at Oak Hill Country Club as a new champion will be named,” said Bryan Karns, championship director for the 2019 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. “We’re excited to host the Holiday Cookie Contest to gear up for the variety of family-friendly experiences the Championship will offer.”

One lucky fan will win a holiday ticket package complete with two Flex tickets valued at $125, and branded KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship merchandise including two lanyards, a logoed hat and gift box with a holiday card, and a KitchenAid Artisan® Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer.

“KitchenAid will bring culinary inspiration to the region this spring, with celebrity chefs and cooking demos for fans to enjoy,” said Deb O’Connor, director of global corporate reputation and community relations with KitchenAid. “Until fans can embrace that and Championship golf, the Holiday Cookie Contest is a great way to be a passionate maker with loved ones.”
