flores-mugshotamores-mugshotTwo Rochester residents have been arrested after a 12-day investigation into heroin and cocaine trafficking in Livingston County.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s office says  Janet Flores and Luis Amaro were originally arrested last month after a traffic stop on I-390. Deputies believed they were transporting drugs to sell in Livonia, but they only had a small amount of cocaine on them. Both were charged with misdemeanor possession and the car was impounded.

After investigation, deputies found bundles of cocaine and heroin concealed in hidden compartments. Flores and Amaro have now been hit with additional felony charges of drug possession and are being held on $5,000 bail each.
