The search for two missing snowmobilers in Conesus Lake is over. The bodies of both men have been pulled from the lake.

Search crews using sonar-equipped boats found the body of Jason Fluet late this morning. Soon after, they found their snowmobile at the bottom of the lake. Late this afternoon, they found the body of Christopher Copeland.

Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty says they’re sorry it couldn’t be better news for the families.

Copeland and Fluet were last seen early on February 12th heading out on a snowmobile. It’s believed the two men fell through thin ice and drowned.
