The Rattlers travel west to take on Denver Saturday.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Rattlers (2-3) travel to Denver, to play the defending champion, Outlaws (4-0) on Saturday, May 27th. The teams split their match-ups last year as the Rattlers won at Denver, 19-11 on June 18. The Outlaws then won in Rochester on July 28, 12-10.
The Outlaws played the Launch on May 13 and won 15-8. The Outlaws are led by Mike Bocklet ( Fairfield) with 15 goals and 3 assists on the season. Bocklet scored 5 goals and had 1 assist on May 13 against the Launch.
Matt Kavanagh (Notre Dame) had 3 goals vs the Launch. Goalie Jack Kelly (Brown) made 20 saves in net for the Outlaws.
Ned Crotty leads the Rattlers with 17 points and 6 goals and 11 assists. Jordan Wolf is the team leader in goals with 8 as Penfield native Kyle Denhoff and Jeremy Boltus are one behind with 7 goals each.
The Rattlers have a bye next week and then return to Capelli Sport Stadium on June 10 for a game against the Chesapeake Bayhawks. Game time is 7 pm.
