Voters in the Greece Central School District have given overwhelming approval to a near $108 million capital improvement project that will provide repairs and modernization to all the district’s buildings.

The District Improvement Project will also provide artificial turf fields and lighting for night games at all four high school athletic fields in Greece. A new transportation and service department building will also be put up.

The project is funded by capital reserves and from state building aid. No additional school tax levy will be required.

The vote in favor of the project was 2,836 FOR to 653 AGAINST.
