Governor Cuomo has identified Webster Central, Victor Central and Palmyra-Macedon as three of the districts that failed to submit reopening plans to the state. All three districts say that they actually submitted their plans last month, and two of them received email confirmation from the State Health Department.

Superintendent Carmen Gumina of Webster Central says by Twitter that his district submitted its plan July 30th, and got confirmation of that from both the Health Department and State Health Commissioner Howard Zucker.

Victor Central says in a statement that it got an email saying it had failed to submit a plan. Victor Central says its plan was submitted July 31st, and has been posted on its website since then where it has gotten significant feedback from the public. It says the internal state verification system is being rectified.

Palmyra-Macedon’s superintendent says his district also submitted its plan last month, and would have expected the state to check before the governor spoke out.

The State Health Department says its list is accurate, but some school districts sent their plans to the Education Department instead of to the Health Department.
