New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has filed for a temporary restraining order to halt President Trump’s third travel ban. Schneiderman and attorneys general for five other states including California and Washington filed in federal court for western Washington State.
They argue that the third version of the administration’s travel ban still carries the anti-Muslim taint of the first, since the majority of countries named in the September proclamation are still primarily Muslim.
Schneiderman says it also applies to people who pose no logical terrorism threat.
