New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is leading a multi-state coalition in filing suit against the Trump Administration over the president’s order to end DACA, the program that lets illegal aliens who arrived in the U.S. as young children avoid deportation. Schneiderman says ending the program is not in the best interests of the United States and not in accord with American values.

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced yesterday that President Trump is ending the program by executive order, just as President Obama started it. There’s a six month delay to allow Congress to enact a reform immigration law if it wants to protect the so-called “Dreamers.”

Schneiderman told a pro-DACA rally in New York City yesterday that he’s not waiting on Congress. His closing words were “See you in court.”
