Flash earn tie with dramatic late goal
The Western New York Flash grabbed the early lead, but then needed to battle back from a 3-1 deficit to earn a tie with the Houston Dash, 3-3, on Saturday night in the Lone Star State.
The Flash scored in the second-half stoppage time by Lynn Williams to gain the tie.
Lianne Sanderson found the back of the net in the third minute of play for WNY, and Jess McDonald scored in the 71st minute to pull the Flash within 1 at 3-2.
With the tie, WNY (8-5-3-2 for16 points) moved into a tie with the Washington Spirit ()with 26 points.

Bills sign defensive tackle
The Buffalo Bills announced on Saturday that the team has signed DT Casey Walker and released DE Cedric Reed.
The 6-foot-1, 340-pound Oklahoma product originally entered the NFL in 2013 as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers. Walker has appeared in eight games with one start throughout his career while recording 14 tackles, one sack, one quarterback hit, and two tackles for a loss. Walker, 27, comes to Buffalo after spending the second half of the 2015 season with the Dallas Cowboys.
