The long-time manager of Rochester’s airport passed away last week.
Sam Cooper was a naval aviator during World War II, Monroe County Parks Director, ROC Airport Manager and most recently, Public Affairs Director for the airport.
The airport arrival canopy was lit sky blue Tuesday night in his honor.
