The Salt Road Bridge over Four Mile Creek in Webster reopened to traffic Thursday morning. The bridge was built in part with precast panels salvaged from the former Tappan Zee Bridge over the Hudson River downstate, saving about $100,000 in construction costs.

County Executive Adam Bello says it’s an excellent example of the state and county working together to complete a project at reasonable cost.
