Terry and Kim Pegula have filled the second top vacancy in one of their Buffalo sports teams. After hiring a new GM for the Bills on Tuesday, the Pegulas have announced the hiring of Jason Botterill to be General Manager of the Sabres.
Terry Pegula says they’re happy to welcome Botterill to the Sabres. He says the new GM’s hockey knowledge, experience in drafting and developing players, and his approach to management stood out during recent interviews.
Botterill is a native of Edmonton and comes to the Sabres from the Pittsburgh Penguins and he’s an 11-year veteran of NHL front offices.
