The Regional Transit Service says “limited” buses are being renamed the RTS “ROC-it Routes” and will have their own posted schedules and logo. The agency says it’s to alert riders that they run a faster schedule and don’t make all the stops.

The limiteds are designed to get from the suburbs to the Transit Center faster, but riders often don’t realize they can’t get off where they want to.

News signs identifying ROC-it stops will go up in 2017 giving the express stops a clearer identity. Some of the regular routes are also being extended. The changes begin January 2nd.
