The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra says it grew its subscription revenue this past season for the second year in a row, bucking the national trend for orchestras.
The 2015-2016 season just ended. The orchestra says season subscribers contributed to a four percent revenue growth and subscriber retention rates were the highest in six years. Single ticket sales were also up, generating nearly $1.7 million. The Pops and Sunday Matinee concerts did particularly well.
