Rochester Police say they were incorrect in reporting yesterday that the victim of Wednesday’s pit bull attack on Rockview Terrace had undergone the amputation of her arm.
A department spokeswoman says they RPD greatly regrets the error.
Mariah Schaffer was badly mauled by the dog in an incident that remains under investigation and she’s still hositalized.
