Two shooting incidents are under investigation in the City of Rochester.
One was about 10:00 p.m. on Memorial Day when gunfire rang out on Norton Street near Hollenbeck Street. Three young men were hit in the upper body; a 23-year-old, a 16-year-old and one who appears to be in his late teens or early 20s. Two are Rochester residents and police aren’t certain about the third.
All three were brought to Strong Memorial Hospital, where two are in serious condition. Police have no word on suspects yet.
The second incident happened at 67 Wilkins Street, where a 21-year-old city man was hit by a bullet while inside the house. Police say at least one shot was fired into the house and grazed the victim, causing a minor wound.
The victim was taken to Strong for treatment. Again, no suspects or arrests are reported.
