Rochester Police have one suspect in custody…and the search is on for a second in a home invasion robbery early this morning on Eighth Street.
Police responding to a 911 call came across the suspects as they were getting ready to get in their car around the corner on Wabash Street. One suspect was arrested…but the other ran after a struggle with Officer Chris Schreier, jumped into the patrol car and took off. Officer Schreier was dragged about 75 feet as he held onto the car.
The patrol car was found abandoned at Pershing and Rocket Streets. Officer Schreier suffered scrapes and bruises.
