Rochester Police have identified the victims of a shooting incident at Frost and Jefferson Avenues Monday evening as 32-year-old Darryle Conner of Rochester and 45-year-old Derrick Reed, also from Rochester.
Conner died in the gunfire. Reed was injured and taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. No suspects are in custody and the investigation continues.
A community prayer vigil will be held this evening at Jefferson and Frost Avenues for the latest homicide victim in Rochester.
The Faith Community Alliance of Greater Rochester and Families and Friends of Murdered Children are holding the curbside vigil.
