Rochester Police say their officers had no personal interaction with City Court Judge Leticia Astacio when she was allegedly asked to leave an East End Bar on Saturday night, and a spokeswoman says police are not investigating the incident as a criminal matter.  But she says information about what happened was given to the Monroe County Probation Office for followup.

Judge Astacio is facing a state procedure to remove her from the bench based on her conduct both before and after her conviction on a DWI charge. She has been brought into court several times for allegedly violating her conditional discharge, including by consuming alcohol when she’s supposed to avoid it.

According to sources, Astacio gained entry to an East End bar over the weekend by using her sister’s ID, and she tried to enter another bar but was stopped by security when they recognized her. Police say they were notified of that attempt by the bar’s security staff, which denied the judge admission.
