A Greece family and the passengers riding in their SUV had a narrow escape Saturday night when a rock came crashing through their windshield.
The family told local media they were southbound on Route 390, when someone dropped a rock off the Moore Drive Bridge by Genesee Valley Park. The rock narrowly missed the driver’s head, leaving him with scratches that bled. He was able to get to the side of the road and found nobody else had been hurt.
One of the six people in the Cadillac Escalade said he saw three people standing on the bridge before the rock crashed down. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
