Rochester police say a man in his 30s is dead after being shot multiple times on Webster Avenue early Sunday morning. He becomes the city’s 13th homicide victim of the year.
Police on patrol in the area of Wesbter and Parsells Avenues just after midnight heard the shots and ran to find the victim. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where they were unable to save his life.
Police say the victim was walking along Webster Avenue when he was shot for an unknown reason.
