Rochester Mayor Malik Evans says the city wants to have its regulations for legal marijuana sales and use in place by September. Evans says the city will hold a public forum on the coming regulations next month.
The City has a Cannabis Commission that will use the information gathered in that hearing as it works on issues including zoning and how the city will use the new revenues generated by legal marijuana sales.
The regulations being issued by the state will have the final say on what’s allowed and what isn’t.
