A Rochester woman was shot in the lower body early Monday morning near Remington and Oscar Streets. Rochester Police say the woman was driven by friends to Lake Avenue, where she called police for help.
Officers responded to both scenes and found the 26-year-old woman had been involved in an argument with someone who may have taken her car without her permission. She was shot during that argument.
She was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to recover.
