Rochester police say the owner of the Boost Mobile store on West Ridge Road and Dewey Avenue was shot Monday night during an apparent robbery.

They say the 41-year-old store owner was found about 7:15, shot at least once in the upper body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Police say the suspect ran away before they got there and they continue to investigate.
