Rochester Regional health System has bought the former Everest Institute site on Portland Avenue in Irondequoit.
The site at 1630 Portland Avenue changed hands for an undisclosed amount of money. The building was formerly the Rochester Business Institute before being bought by Everest Institute. Everest closed it last year when the for-profit business school ran into financial trouble.
Rochester Regional health will use it as a training facility. It’s close to Rochester General Hospital.
