The Monroe County Health Department has given the green light to reopen the kitchens at the Riverside Radisson Hotel in downtown Rochester. They were closed on Monday after a mice infestation was discovered.

Visit Rochester says inspectors looked over the hotel this morning and found everything OK. The visitors association says 500 people from the weekend convention of the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs are staying at the hotel for a conference at the Floreano Riverside Convention Center this weekend.

A Radisson spokeswoman says an outside firm was hired to take the restaurants and food service areas apart and sanitize all the surfaces and equipment. They also painted everything and replaced furnishings.
