Rochester Police have recovered the SUV they believe struck and killed a woman last week on Clifford Avenue.
A police spokeswoman says police have located a Kia Sorrento that was involved in the accident. They have not released any additional details so far and have not said if they’ve identified the driver. They’re still asking anyone with information about the incident to call 911 or Crime Stoppers.
Nilsa Rivera was walking on Clifford Avenue last Friday night when she was hit by the SUV from behind. The driver didn’t stop, and Rivera died a short time later at Strong Hospital.
