Rochester Police have released surveillance photos of the person they say robbed the Chase Bank branch downtown.
Police say a man walked into the bank on South Clinton Avenue around 8:30 this morning and passed the teller a note demanding cash. The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as a black man about five foot eight to six feet tall with a medium build.
Another bank robbery took place several hours later at the Bank of America branch at 671 Park Avenue. No weapon was displayed and the suspect also ran away with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect again is a black man who was wearing a red jacket.
