Police say they’ve cleared up a string of crimes including murder and a bank robbery with the arrest of Bryan Lavar Gifford of Rochester.

Rochester Police arrested Gifford yesterday after he was involved in a street robbery. Based on information developed by the department’s Major Crimes Unit and Clinton Section Investigators, Gifford has been charged with second degree murder for the death of Antwan Hines.

Hines was shot on West Broad Street on the evening of June 30th, and died of his injuries a week-and-a-half later.

Gifford has also been charged with first degree robbery and grand larceny for a robbery at 31 Mazda Terrace, and police say the FBI will be filing charges against him for a bank robbery that took place last year.
