Rochester Police say a 35-year-old man suffered serious injuries early this morning when he was shot, possibly on Caffrey Place, a dead-end street off of Clifton Street.

Police say the Rochester man has been shot at least once in the upper body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where his injuries were described as life-threatening.

Investigators are still trying to piece together the sequence of events. They say there’s a good chance the victim was actually shot about a block away on Adams Street, then ran to the dead-end Caffrey Place before collapsing.
