A Rochester man will serve more than 15-and-a-half years in prison after he was convicted of setting fire to a commercial building…and possessing a gun although he was a convicted felon.

Federal prosecutors say 36-year-old Eddie Vaughn, also known as “Elbow,” has been ordered to pay more than $45,000 in restitution for the arson.

Vaughn was found guilty of throwing a Molotov cocktail into the Miami Deli Grocery on Genesee Street about two-and-a-half years ago. The store was gutted and an investigation by Rochester’s Arson Task Force led police to Vaughn.
