A Rochester man has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for threatening to kill a federal prosecutor.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 53-year-old Tony Ivey was sentenced for threatening to kill an Assistant U.S. Attorney with an assault rifle after being told he couldn’t directly assist Ivey with a complaint. He attempted to direct Ivey to an agency that could help him, but Ivey began to threaten him.
Ivey will spend three years on post-release supervision.
