An alleged member of the Proud Boys from Rochester has pleaded not guilty to federal charges stemming from the January 6th uprising at the Capitol Building in Washington.

Dominic Pezzola faces an 11-count federal indictment charging him with conspiring to obstruct law enforcement and other charges. He’s also accused of having information on how to make bombs and guns.

Pezzola appeared by video call in a Washington, D.C. courtroom, answering “yes sir” when the judge asked if he understood the procedure.

A hearing on Wednesday will determine if Pezzola will continue to be held in Federal custody.
