A 66-year-old Rochester man will be sentenced on February 15th after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the death of 62-year-old Craig Dyer.

Police say Robert Jackson shot Dyer in the face after approaching him on Reynolds Street. Police were able to identify him quickly through witness reports.

Jackson will serve 25 years in prison, plus five years of post-release supervision. Prosecutors say that means he’ll likely spend the rest of his life behind bars.
