Gavel 1A man is going to prison after pleading guilty to a deadly shooting in Rochester last year.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office says 24-year-old Rashawn Johnson admitted to second degree murder in the death of Christopher Lee.

Authorities say Johnson shot Lee seven times at the corner of Thurston Road and Flanders Street on July 3rd, 2015. Lee died a short time later.  

Johnson is facing 18 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on October 27th.
