Federal prosecutors say a 22-year-old Rochester man has pleaded guilty to his role in a series of five gunpoint robberies of area businesses.
Damien Rutledge committed the holdups nearly a year ago.
U.S. Attorney James Kennedy says Rutledge was part of a four-man crew that held up convenience stores around the city, from Hudson Avenue to Lake Avenue. The other three have previously pleaded guilty.
Rutledge will be sentenced in November.
