Federal prosecutors say Mensur Odzakovic of Rochester has pleaded guilty to charges of wire fraud for fraudulently collecting Social Security Income and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.

The 49-year-old Odzakovic claimed he was unemployed and had no source of income while he was continuously employed at an area restaurant, earning cash salary that made him unqualified to receive the SSI and SNAP benefits. He collected more than $86,000 fraudulently between 2007 and when he was caught last year.
