A Rochester 19-year-old is in the Livingston County jail after being caught with heroin and marijuana during a traffic stop on I-390.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says the car was pulled over as part of its “Operation Safe Interstate.” Passenger Javonn Campbell turned out to have six bags of heroin and a small amount of marijuana. When he was being processed at the jail, officers found more heroin and also cocaine hidden on his person.

Campbell has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. The charges were upgraded after the additional drugs were found to include felony tampering with evidence and promoting prison contraband.
He’s being held on a total of $10,000 bail; $5,000 for each set of charges.
