A Monroe County Court Jury has found a 60-year-old Rochester man guilty on 34 counts involving child sexual abuse.
Keith Wilcox was convicted on charges of abusing six children between the ages of 11 and 16. Wilcox was housing and caring for the teenagers at his home on Tacoma Street after convincing their parents he would take care of them as a father would.
The charges against Wilcox range from predatory sexual assault against a child to committing a criminal sexual act. Prosecutor Kyle Rossi calls him a monster who should never again live outside of prison.
Wilcox is facing up to 300 years behind bars. He’ll be sentenced on August 16th.
