A Monroe County Court Jury has found 22-year-old Derrick Macon guilty of predatory sexual assault, rape and strangulation for a series of brutal assaults on women in Rochester.
From spring of 2012 through summer of 2014, Macon stalked three women as they walked down city streets. He jumped them, strangled them until they were unconscious and sexually assaulted them.
The defendant was a stranger to all three victims but was positively identified through DNA evidence.
He’ll be sentenced on November 4th and is facing 25-years-to-life in prison.
