Federal prosecutors say a 23-year-old Rochester man has been charged with enticing a minor to engage in sex, and with possession of child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Western New York says Christian Michael Stutes was charged after he attempted to arrange a sexual trust with an underage child via text messages. He didn’t realize he was communicating with an undercover investigator, and was arrested when he arrived for what he assumed would be the sexual encounter.
Investigation found Stutes was a teacher’s aide at a local child care center, and had previously worked at several children’s camps.
