A Rochester man is facing charges after he tried to run from New York State Police Wednesday afternoon and ended up crashing into another car after running a stop sign.
State Police say 38-year-old Bradley Jerry of Rochester was wanted by troopers and other police agencies on a number of warrants when they tried to stop him for a traffic violation on I-490. Jerry refused to pull over, even after a stop stick flattened one of his tires. He exited 490 Eastbound onto Chili Center-Coldwater Road and ran the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, crashing into another car driven by 40-year old Jamie Glover of North Chili. Both drivers were injured and taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, along with 42-year-old Lisa Gedney of Rochester who was Jerry’s passenger.
Charges are pending in the incident.
